What is Yacon?
Yacon is commonly grown in the Northern and Central Andes. It
is called ‘Peruvian ground apple’, and called ‘Jicama’ in Ecuador. The
roots are composed of fluent water and fructooligossaccharides. As the name
says this plant is sweet and juicy. (fructo- oligos- saccharides)
Fructoologossaccharides taste sweet and have pro-biotic effect. Leaves are weak
violet, and ivory roots are bigger than sweet potatoes.
How does it work?
The juicy root
supplies a beverage source. There are two kinds of its product – Yacon syrup
and Yacon tea. These are popular among diabetic people and dieters.
Yacon syrup has shown that loose weight without diet and exercise
in fact. It’s known to help burn fat naturally. As I mentioned above the
element of Yacon is non caloric sweetener.
Yacon can easy to grow, store, high- yielding, and sweet
like an apple.
